To complete a sales and marketing exercise with potential key users in order to prepare and present, a detailed business plan with a view to the commencement of production of selected items, including drill heads and any other ancillary related equipment.
The candidate had a detailed understanding of the production of castings for the oil and petro-chemical industries which also involved previous commercial experience dealing with customers in the UK and within the local region.
The candidate also had the ability and experience in securing new business and dealing with all related sales and commercial matters.

To develop, maintain and expand new profitable business opportunities and the current customer portfolio within designated sales territories.
The successful candidate had sales experience within Europe and the surrounding countries, dealing with agent networks, key account customers and had the ability to be proficient in developing new areas of business.

The successful candidate had a depth of experience with Quality, Production Engineering, Metallurgical aspects of ferrous castings production including the management control of all operations including labour, budgets, performance, appraisals, capital expenditure projects for plant and new product introduction.
|Business Development Executive|
Part of the brief was to prepare a strategy for the development of new business particularly in such markets areas as electrical, marine, rail and general engineering industries.
The candidate had a career in the foundry/metals/engineering industry leading to several years experience in a technical related sales position and had a strong commercial understanding and business acumen of dealing with aluminium die castings.
|CNC Lean Manufacturing Manager|
To overview the machining facility and to instigate production schedules and planning in order to meet clients present and future order requirements. This was to include the generation of standard operating procedures e.g.; cycle times, set up procedures, fixture / tooling layouts and floor-to-floor performance standards. The successful candidate had expereince of the performance of CNC machines whilst minimising downtime ensuring requirements and standards were met.
The successful candidate also had strong technical knowledge and operating experience of CNC machine tools and current programming skills including knowledge of Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Cincinnati and knowledge and operation of CADCAM systems.
To work in a major mechanised iron foundry environment and be conversant with Disa plant and other processes including automatic sand-moulding, core-production-process and auto pour.
The successful candidate had a progressive career in the production/ technical function which included such matters as process improvement, process control, methods, tooling and melting processes.
|Senior Commodity Sourcing Manager Forgings|
To develop and deploy the Sourcing Strategies for the key items such as forgings, forged blades and blade materials.
The candidate had significant practical experience of senior technical management for forged products.
|Foundry General Manager|
To be responsible for all production, technical, sales, commercial and administration areas of the plant and for ensuring that there is achievement for all agreed targets.
The candidate had a successful and progressive career in a manufacturing environment within the non-ferrous alloys industry.
To manage selected activities of the company’s manufacturing facility, including production planning, control and output and to work closely with the methoding and quality control departments on all moulding, melting and heat treatment aspects of production.
The candidate had a background in the Foundry industry with a progressive career in production, quality, technical areas.
