Reporting to the Operational Manager, the Production Manager’s primary role is to manage and lead a team, coordinate and control manufacturing processes.
Other key responsibilities may include, team leadership, production planning, cost control, drafting time scale and liaising among different departments.
A production manager is involved in both the pre-planning stage as well as the production stage. A large part of production management involves dealing with people, particularly those who work in your team.
