The company offers a comprehensive capability and possesses the broadest range of power generation systems, equipment and services in the industry.

There is an immediate requirement for an experienced Manager who has practical experience of senior technical management for forged products. The role involves the development and deployment of the Sourcing Strategies for the company’s key commodities such as forgings, forged blades and blade materials in line with the needs of the Turbomachines Group. Knowledge of the production methods used for specific components such as blades, fan casings and housings, core engine casings, rotors and guide vanes would therefore be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have key experience in cost control, quality systems and working practises and in particular, the sourcing of large, heavy and high value forged products from a heavy industrial environment.

Suitably qualified to a recognised degree level with evidence of business related academic achievements, the candidate will be a key member of the senior management team and be responsible for all sourcing decisions within the Key Commodity department.

The position offers an excellent high salary package, which is negotiable. The appointment will report to the main head office in Switzerland and extensive travel throughout the world will also be involved.
